Honest reviews · Tampa, Florida
Real reviews from a real mom. Nothing else.
I test every product myself before I write about it — kitchen tools, beauty picks, kids’ stuff, garden gear for a Florida house, and the back-office software I actually use to run my own business from the kitchen table. If I wouldn’t tell my sister to buy it, I won’t tell you here.
Why this site exists
Most review sites won’t tell you what they actually think.
So I do. Most “review” sites are really just affiliate rankings dressed up as advice — written by people who’ve never touched half the things they’re ranking, and the “best” pick is always whatever pays them the most. I started Elena Reviews It because I wanted somewhere honest to send my own family when they ask me what to buy. Everything here gets used in a real house — a husband and two teenagers, a dog who has opinions, and a kitchen table that also happens to be the headquarters of the small business I run from home. Most worth it
The products I keep recommending
The handful of things that have earned permanent room in my house — the ones my sister, my mom back in Lima, and half my Tampa neighborhood ended up buying after I told them about it.
What I cover
Six honest beats, one real life
I write about the household stuff I’d recommend to my own family and the back-office software I lean on to run my business from this same kitchen table. New reviews land here as I work through them — sign up below and I’ll let you know the minute they go live.

Kids & Family
School supplies, age-appropriate tech, gifts, and the things that have to survive two teenagers, a dog, and the occasional eye-roll. If it lasted in my house, it’ll last in yours.

Tech for Non-Techies
The software I actually use to run my small business from the kitchen table — video editors, PDF tools, the tax software I file my own returns with, plus the privacy and password stuff that keeps the family safe. Explained for normal people, not your IT guy.
